Stonehaven Senior Home

The project was a 2-storey + Basement, Retirement Home with 12 private and semi-private rooms in addition to common areas such as: activity lounge, dining area, common kitchen, medical office and a beauty salon. Later, the client asked us to add an extension to the building with six more rooms to accommodate more residents without compromising building accessibility and safety features. The project represented a challenge dealing with the strict accessibility and safety requirements for care homes, in both the main building and the extension; and in dealing with several stakeholders and authorities involved in the process. The result was a pleasant, safe and fully accessible senior home.
Beethoven Hall

The project was a renovation for one of the oldest buildings in Toronto. The owner wanted to explore the building's potential being located in an area that has become so vibrant with educational institutes, trendy retail and is in high demand. The challenge was to redesign the building interior into a ground floor restaurant plus 3 apartments on the upper floors while maintaining and supporting the heritage building envelope.
Coultice Park Field House
Whitchurch-Stouffvilleville, Ontario, Canada

We were tasked by the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville to design a Field House for their new recreational park. The building was designed to host washrooms and technical facilities for the park. As small as it is, the challenge for this project was to provide an economic, accessible and durable design yet pleasant, interesting and can act as a landmark for the park.
